Build Log: Kit #1 Produced by an Agent from Bootstrap Prompt with Evals
A deep dive into how an autonomous agent constructed Kit #1 (Laravel + Filament + PostgreSQL) from our bootstrap prompt, evaluated by our benchmark runner.
To validate the efficacy of our stack kit architecture, we conducted an end-to-end benchmark: could an autonomous coding agent build a complete enterprise administration portal solely from our bootstrap prompt and kit.yaml manifest?
The Bootstrap Test Setup
We initialized an empty workspace containing only our single-source rules and kit.yaml manifest. We assigned an autonomous Claude 3.5 Sonnet agent the bootstrap instruction to generate Kit #1: Laravel 12, Filament v3, PostgreSQL 16, and multi-tenant scoping.
# Execution command via evals runner
python evals/runner.py --kit laravel-filament-postgresql --benchmark full-bootstrap
Evaluation Results
Our benchmark runner evaluated 14 distinct criteria across four categories:
- Syntax & Formatting: Pint and PHP CS Fixer passed with 0 violations.
- Type Safety: Larastan Level 8 completed with 0 errors across 42 classes.
- Multi-Tenancy: Pest architecture tests verified that every Filament resource correctly applied
TenantScope. - Security Scans: Gitleaks and Semgrep reported 0 security vulnerabilities.
CLAUDE.md prevented 100% of the usual directory hallucinations. The agent placed policies, resources, and migrations in their exact enterprise locations on the first pass.
